My Priorities for a Thriving Santa Ana
-
I will continue to invest in affordable housing and supportive housing, and ensure full proactive enforcement of our Rent Stabilization and Just Cause Eviction Ordinance.
-
I will prioritize solving everyday problems for Ward 6 residents.
Whether you own a home, rent, work, or have a business in Santa Ana, my priority will be YOU.
My commitment to you is consistent and timely response times to emails, phone calls, and messages, as well as accessible Office Hours throughout Ward 6.
-
The events of last summer showed our City has to do more to do to support our immigrant communities. As your Council Member, you can count on me to stand up against ICE and Trump.
My priorities on the council will be to:
invest in Santa Ana’s Immigrant Legal Defense Fund,
ensure full compliance with our existing Sanctuary Ordinance,
end contracts with tech companies that share our residents’ data with ICE and the Trump Administration,
and re-convene the Sanctuary Advisory Board so that the city receives advice from legal and immigrant rights experts on best practices to protect our residents.
-
I will ensure Santa Ana maintains the highest standards for environmental protections in our district and that we address longstanding resident concerns.
Ward 6 has several industrial corridors throughout the district and it is critical that all businesses obey environmental laws and protect our communities from unnecessary pollution exposure.
-
I will continue to support good paying jobs for all Santa Ana residents and prioritize union jobs with local hire provisions in all new development projects across the City.
-
I will continue to advocate for community investments that improve community safety and wellbeing.
-
From obtaining permits for a business to having an alleyway cleaned, a Council Member’s most important job is helping residents navigate City Hall and getting connected to the proper departments.
As your Council Member, my top priority will be delivering effective City services for all our residents.
